My Kids
When you teach a class, they become 'your kids.' You stick together through the ups and downs and you learn a lot about each and every one of them. Wow! What a year it has been. Will be sad to see these children move on, but know each and every one of them is ready for 2019! Merry Christmas Room 14! Wishing you all a successful and happy 2019!

It has been a pleasure to teach these Year 6's for two years in a row.

Cunliffe Rest Home
Last week Room 14 and 15 did some baking and then took it down to Cunliffe Rest Home. It was such a special morning, sharing waiata, kai and chatting with the residents. We also played games with them including connect four, card games, as well as playing bowling and catch games with our friends. We had lots of compliments abouit of immaculate behaviour and we were so proud. Mrs Wing was extremely proud that we all displayed our School Values of Care and Share.
NZ Breakers Vs Jordan
Cohan impressed at the NZ Breakers last week, winning the dance off! He's got skills on and off the court!
Challenge yourself to be better
I love that the children don't use the excuse of 'I don't know how to do it' or 'I'm not very good at it.' We are challenging ourselves to be better every single time. This is Zara's drawing of the Queen for Chapter Chat. Hasn't she done well! Ka mau te wehi Zara!
Heroes Dress Up Day
Our wonderful Student Council organised a Mufti Day with the theme of dressing up as our 'Favourite Hero.'
What a fantastic range of dress ups! Can you spot who we are?
