Well I can certainly say that Room 14's highlight this week was getting to wear pyjamas in the swimming pool as the final lesson. The water safety lessons this week have been fun as well as very valuable, adding to our knowledge around being safe in the water.
We had our first visit to the library. We were the first class in the library for the year so we had first pick of the wonderful selection of books we have in our school library.
Our basic facts in maths is rolling along very nicely now, we are well into the routine of it. We will see improvements in knowledge of times tables and speed of basic addition and subtraction as the year goes on.
We completed some lovely writing this week about ourselves and about being a good friend. If you keep an eye on our individual blogs this week you might be lucky enough to see some of this writing.

Glad to see that you've had a lot fun inside the swimming pools , focusing on your basic facts for maths and writing about yourself being a good friend. After looking at some of the pictures you took , it seems like you had a lot of fun wearing your pjs inside the pool.
What task/ activity that you think was really enjoyable about being inside the pool ? Why?
