We have just started something new in our class. It is the Super Star of the Day! You get to have the trophy on your desk for the day and everyone writes a lovely compliment on your poster that you get to take home. It is working really well and Room 14 are pretty awesome at giving out compliments.
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hi room 14 this is really intresting it is really good to give out compliments to other people to cheer them up but I found this really intrsting because you get a trophey and you can get compliments from other people.

ReplyDeletesuper star of the day sounds like a great idea I bet your class mates must love super star of the day I loved the way you talked about what your class dose how many times have you goten super star of the day.

The compliments can boost their confidence. But I do think there is one problem with it, don't you think the other students would get jealous. Other than it does seem really nice.
